Happy New Year!

Brent was in Romania for New Years (that post to come), so Luke and I spent it with my family... Luke clicked with Uncle Justin!

 We got to go see their house being built

Luke had fun "banging on the drum"

 For New Year's Eve, we made homemade brushetta

 Pasta, and Italian spaghetti that Mel learned how to cook in Italy

 Justin helped cut the noodles 

 The finished product... yummo!

 After dinner, we played ride the horse... Aunt Melody made Luke hold his hand in the air like a real cowboy :)

 Then we switched to "Fat Pants"

To eat fondue and mascarpone whicle watching the fireworks all around us!  

 We all agreed 2012 is going to be great!

Santa and Granna!

Granna came to visit Luke and have some Christmas fun this past week!  This was sort of a last minute invite that made our activity packed week so much more fun to share!  Luke was so excited that he got his own special visitor... He would wake up and ask if Granna was still here... sweet boy.

 We went to visit Santa.  There was no line and so no real prep time to talk about Santa, so Luke was not sure of the whole process!  He asked Santa for an orange bike and blocks.  Santa asked him if he liked dinosaurs and he said no.  This is how I know that Luke was unsure!

 

Friday was Luke's first Christmas show at his daycare.  They sang 3 songs... he sang loud and proud!
